As your ward Councillor I have been informed by the planning department of a planning application to develop the shop site on
The intention of the applicant is to turn the house that occupies part of the site into 2 semi-detached units and to increase the height by 2.5 metres by taking off the roof and refitting it with dormer windows. Also the front of the property is to be altered by the addition of bay windows.
The part of the site that was the shop will have another building erected that will be the same as the 2 unit house.
It is vital that you go to Premier House to look at the plans and form your own opinion about the proposals; you can inspect them between 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
